MAPIN
The parent imprint is the one that lends strength to the company's rich publishing list. Today, the brand competes with the best in the world. The Mapin imprint represents high quality illustrated books on visual arts of India, backed by research and writing from the best scholars and writers. Under this imprint, the company established a very broad horizon for its publishing programme - ranging from arts and crafts, architecture and archaeology and photography and museum collections. The imprint is a platform for documentation and preservation of knowledge on India and its diverse heritage.

MAPINLIT
After excelling in art publishing for nearly two decades, the company branched out into creativity of another kind - literature - under a new imprint, MapinLit.  Writing that privileges writing itself, that is itself art rather than documentation, was the focus of this new venture, which began in 2005. Fiction, poetry, biography, essays - springing forth from the human consciousness, the milieu we live in, and from the aspirations we have - are explored by exciting new, as well as established, writers. Mapinlit's wide-ranging scope is evident from the titles published by the imprint so far and it matches the exacting publishing standards already set by Mapin.

MAPIN CHILDREN'S BOOKS
In 2007, we launched an imprint that could focus on bringing children closer to India's historical traditions and narrative heritage. Taking an extension from our expertise in art publishing, the books under this imprint endeavour to creatively bring together text and illustrations that can enrich the learning experience. We believe that good quality - from editorial to production - helps develop an interest to read, and goes a long way in fostering the reading habit among younger age groups.
